Prompt: caught red-handed
Once upon a time, Azu stepped in a can of red paint.
A beat.
“It’s ok, Zuzu.” Fangs said, before walking over to scuff her… putting both of her paws into the red paint can.
Sadly, her mouth was too full of fluff to swear.
“Hey, what’s going on?” Cakey asked, hopping over to the duo. “Hey, why are your paws red?... Have I caught you… red-handed?” Cakey made a cat face.
Azu whimpered. Fangs rolled her eyes, and briefly considered chucking Azu at Cakey, but reasoned that it would stress Azu out a bit too much.
Instead, she settled for attempting to place Azu’s paws on Cakey.
“Wait! Wait! How am I supposed to be edible if I get paint on me- wait, I can wash it off!”
